I've done this by creating a new, zero-line staff with no barlines, 
key, time sig, repeats, etc, in short, NOTHING displays except the 
notes, then I resize it to 60%, and enter all notes on the same line, 
below B so the stems all go up. I pull it down until it floats over 
the main staff. Whew!

Then I save it so I NEVER have to go through that kludge again!
