I got a couple of these as well, but I just deleted them. These kinds of
mailings reach us in a variety of ways, just like junk mail. In addition to
buying mailing lists, website owners can use automatic software to scoop up
screen names from perfectly legitimate chat rooms. On AOL, I sometimes get
porn email that is being sent to every possible permutation of rose231,
rosebud, rosepetal, anything having to do with roses.

I have gotten these emails off and on for the past several years. I never
visit porn sites, nor trade pornographic images with friends, but they come
anyway. Usually they come from a screen name that will obviously be deleted
after the mailing is sent, such as [EMAIL PROTECTED] They used to
really gripe me, but now I don't even think about them anymore; I just
delete them. I did find it a bit curious to get it in conjunction with this
list, but I still don't worry about it.

I can understand that others might find it a real invasion, as I did at one
time, too.
