If I had known it would have caused any problems, I certainly would have left them where they were. It wasn't a full second verse, only small sections with exactly the same music pattern which the composer had marked as repeats. I definitely think you *should* be able to cut and paste them and retain whatever attributes were there to begin with. Next time I will remember this and leave it alone.
