I started with Speedy (I don't play keyboard, and never actually tried the other way), and I can enter music almost as fast as I can write it with a pencil, including accidentals and beaming (except, ahem, across barlines) and grace notes. I hope you can learn it easily, as I think it is an extremely fast way to work.
