In the past, when I've had to indicate rolled chords on the piano, I've used the arpeggio articulation, which has been a real pain -- it never appears in the correct place, and I have to remember which handle stretches it and which handle moves it, and if I want to adjust it, I have to remember which note it's attached to.
Now I notice that one of the custom smart shapes looks just like an arpeggio indication. (I'm on Fin2003, but this may have come in earlier.) It's really easy to position just so, and easy also to select to edit or delete. Are there any hidden pros or cons to this method? It occurs to me that there might be some spacing issues, in that the articulation will remain a fixed distance from the note it's attached to, while the smart shape might maintain a proportional distance, depending on the spacing. I'm not interested in any playback effects, just visual ones. Thanks, Aaron. _______________________________________________ Finale mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
