You can do this: engage shift-lock, press 5 on QWERTY, then play your 
chords in sequence. If you want a crotchet (quarter) rest, play a 
3-note semitone cluster anywhere. This can be a huge time-saver. If 
you engage shift-lock, press opt-3 (for triplets), then 4 (for 
quavers/eighths), you can then enter the entire RH part of the 1st 
movt of the Moonlight Sonata in a few minutes.

If you actually _want_ a 3-note cluster you'll have to go back to the 
slower entry method for that.

If you check View at Concert Pitch, then you enter, and see, all 
notes in  concert for all instruments.
