It was possible before as well. The dialogs was just a bit more "hidden".

There are a bunch of other stuff in the Maestro default file as well, such 
as some new Custom-Line Smart Shapes (although mostly for TAB). You 
can use Settings Transfer (use the latest Forza! 0.16 beta) to get them 
into other documents.

These are not new options, just reorganized and moved from other 
dialogs. It's a nice "side-effect" of the new options interface that settings 
actually can be _found_ now...

If you take into account that these "new" settings just have been moved 
from previous document setting dialogs, it's not that surprising. However, I 
agree that the user interface could do a better job in explaining which 
settings on that page are global and which are not (similar to what's 
already happening on the "Fonts" page).

Feel free to test the "Settings Transfer" in the Forza! beta, that kind of 
stuff simply wasn't possible to do with plug-ins in earlier Finale versions.
