Peter, you're in the Rod Serling zone again. I have a computer full of
software, none of it protected, and like Cakewalk, these companies have
been around along as those scared-bunny companies with all their chains and
locks.

Yes, archiving is a big issue. And yes, I walk away from companies that
make it harder. And talk people out of buying that stuff.

Why do you love these fascist companies? How in the world do you justify
that word "generous"? It's your money! Yi yi yi! Maybe you and many other
software customers are just used to being treated that way, and have
forgotten what it's like not to be a victim.
