>>Actually my "Wish List" for Coda, is more extensive sections on >>"Editing,Fixing Mistakes, Rescuing your work from disasters". This should be in 3 places, (1) In the Tutorials (2) In the Manual (3) On-line <<
This is true of just about any manual for any computer software that was published after 1980. Manuals used to be organized in a way that made sense. Now manuals, when they exist at all, are lists of things the software will do. If you're lucky, you get some tutorials such as Finale has. Try working through the tutorials for Finale. If you get balled up, stop and post a query here. I find that answers to my queries sometimes come back within a half hour. After you ask a few simplistic questions and get them answered, you will feel more comfortable with the software in general. I had a hard time learning which tool was which; once you get that into your head, it's easier to look up what you want to know in the manual. The manual is actually quite complete and detailed, once you know what tool is used for what.
