OmniWeb 4.1 doesn't have tabbed browsing (version 5.0 will), but in contrast
to IE it:

- doesn't have major security loopholes
- displays pages more quickly and accurately, using that beautiful Quartz
antialiasing (though IE recently incorporated this)
- has a much more elegant user interface
- has much more versatile cookie handling, including an "Accept but don't
save" option
- allows you to specify a minimum font size
- allows you resize any window, regardless of whether it's "supposed to be"
resizable
- can automatically filter banner ads
- can automatically filter popup windows while still maintaining
functionality (the "Popups allowed only in response to a link being clicked"
is the most useful setting)
- is highly customizable -- for instance, by default to perform a Google
search for "naked mole rats" you don't actually have to load the Google
search page. Simply type "google 'naked mole rats'" into the location bar,
and you will go directly to your search results. You can create your own
settings for this feature any webpage, or edit the existing ones -- for
instance, instead of "google 'naked mole rats'" you might decide you want to
be able to simply type "g 'naked mole rats'"
- can masquerade as any other browser when a web site says it requires a
specific browser (usually IE)
- is frequently updated -- when a new version reaches beta, they allow
anywone to download their daily builds, if you wish
- when it crashes (which is infrequently, even for the betas), it
automatically sends an email of the crash log to the OmniGroup
- it's not from Microsoft

Get it at <http://www.omnigroup.com>. It's not free -- it costs $29.99 --
but you can evaluate the full version indefinitely without registering. But
of course you'll be so impressed with this browser that you'll want to
register and support one of the best independent OS X developers in the
game.
