I experience other minor display problems in Finale. I was under the impression that these are due to my old operating system, but perhaps not.<< Hm. I wonder why this would begin suddenly when I have never noticed it before. I just finished another piece from Chicago and in proofreading discovered places where a fermata or a break mark had meandered to an upper staff. I put it down to carelessness on my part. Now I am wondering. I have also noticed that sometimes when I am adding an expression to one of the staves, the pointed which indicates which staff it will attach the expression to will not point down to the staff I want it to point to. This is the first work I have done that has more staves than a piano/vocal arrangement, so maybe there are things I don't understand.
