Why, oh why is the page orientation in Page Layout NOT automatically linked
to Page Set-up in File menu!
Needing a new printout of an existing filed score (25 pages) I opened it
up, set to print and went off to indulge in caffiene and nicotine. (I have a
very old Gestetnet Laser GLX801 printer- painfully slow but fantastic print
quality.) Came back 20 mins later- 25 pages of 2/3 of a Landscape score-
printed in Portrait. GRRRR! What a waste of paper, toner and time! OK- I
should have checked-BUT; Why doesn't Finale detect that a file is in
Landscape and send to print accordingly? Would this be technically
difficult? Is there any situation where the current 'default' is desirable,
or even makes sense?
Basic question; Why do we (I) have to set Landscape in TWO places?
Regards from a very frustrated Keith in OZ.
