That Reply/ReplyAll is the default behavior of the list, and has been for about the past year or so, since SHSU switched its e-mail program. It was changed from the former behavior where Reply sent only one copy, to the list. To send a reply to the original author one had to manually input that person's address into the address bar. This new system does make that easier, but it also makes one think if the message should go to the individual only or to the entire list.
I have no problem with receiving two copies when people reply to a message I sent, which happens when they simply click Reply All. I don't feel a need to remove an individual recipient's name from the addresses my reply will go to, unless there are four or five because I am replying late in a thread. I frequently receive one of the two replies faster than the other, because one comes directly to me and the other goes through the servers at SHSU.
