Finale Mac 2003
OS 9.2.2

Hi:

When I have two files open simultaneously, their menu bars often grey
out, and selecting one of them under the Window menu to bring it to the
front does not work. In what may be related, sometimes when I open a
file and then open a second file, the first is closed without my being
asked.

On a more disturbing note, it has now happend three or four times that
after quitting the program while working with two files (with quite
different names), one file has "become" the other. Say I have file
"symphony" and file "quartet" open. I work on both, save changes and
quit. I do NOT do a "save as" for either file. When next I open
"symphony" it has all the data for "quartet", or in other words it is as
though I have opened "quartet". When I open "quartet" it is also the
data for "quartet". In other words, "symphony" has disappeared and I
have two "quartet"s with different names. When this first happened I
though I had screwed up somehow, but now it has happend at least three
times and I am quite sure that I have not caused it. In all cases,
because I back up regularly as I work, I have not lost any data.
Nonetheless this is very strange.

Anybody had anything like this?

Michael Mattthews
