It's just Microsoft's little way of saying "Mac users are no longer special -- they get to suffer like the REST of the world does! Ha, Ha, Ha!"

Actually, not knowing how Macs operate internally I can't be sure, but on Windows systems, no matter how much memory the machine might have, there is still a small block reserved for actual program operation and OS overhead, and when that gets used and not returned to the system properly you get these messages. Good old Microsoft! Their slogan should change from "Where do you want to go today?" to "WHERE did you say we should go?" or "If we made it work properly the first time, we'd be out of a job!"

Sometimes when I am doing things in IE I get a message that my computer is
low on memory. This last time right after that message a box popped up with
java errors (I'm sorry, I didn't keep that). I went to ABOUT THIS COMPUTER
and it showed that I had 379.9 largest unused block. That has got to be
enough for anything. Does anyone know what is going on?

Also I have been having trouble with some sites not working and I think it
again is java errors. Anyone know how to fix that? I am running Mac OS 9.2.2
and IE 5.1.6.

Thanks.
