Here's my understanding:
"Pomo" does not apply to a work itself or to its creator. It applies to a style
of analysis that can be imposed upon any work by any creator--the work is
"deconstructed"
and a Marxist-Eco-Feminist-Social, etc. framework is imposed upon it, regardless
of fit.

I am perhaps revealing a dislike of Pomo here, but I am not alone among my professor
colleagues.

For a light-hearted view of a movement which is thoroughly lacking in humor
and utterly self-absorbed and unwilling to examine itself, go here:

Flame away, Pomo fans!
