If the graphic is not too big the following procedure will work:

1) Open the PDF file in Acrobat Reader.
2) use the zoom tool and try to  center the graphic you need in the monitor.
Try to zoom in as much as possible (at least 200%, 400% is better).
3) Press Command+Shift+4
4) The cursor becomes a plus sign. Enclose the graphic and release the mouse
button.
5) In your hard disk it will appear a screen capture file. It is a pict file
that you can import in Finale.
This won't work for me because I need the whole page, in the highest possible quality. The reason I want to do this is for printing purposes: A file created in Sibelius needs to be translated to Acrobat for me to print it, and I want to print it as a booklet, wh. Acrobat Reader won't do, but Finale will--so if I can bring the Reader pages into Finale as graphics I'm home free.

Any other solution to the underlying printing problem is welcome!
