I have downloaded a shareware programme that helps in this respect a great deal, as long as you have an audio file to run it across.
Does anyone know of software (for Mac) that would allow me to create audio files off the soundtrack of the DVD?
On a related topic:
I am trying to create an audio CD of some RealPlayer files on my Mac G4. Even though the suffix is .mp3, the file creator shows up as RealPlayer, and QuickTime won't play them. Also, when I tried to import them into ITunes (OS 9 version), they all showed up OK, and burned to CD without an error message, but the CD plays back with unlistenable garbage along with the audio. I strongly suspect that they are NOT true .mp3s according to Hoyle.
Is there any utility that you know of that will make RealPlayer audio into AIFF files so I can make a playable CD? I don't want to have to play them one at a time out through my sound card and back into my computer again, as they are tiny little :10" to 1:00' clips. (For the curious among you, they are the sound clips from Keyboard Magazine's website, illustrating various printed examples in the magazine.)
Help would be appreciated.
