My settings scrapbook plugin copies metatools (and also optionally the articulation defs). Also expression metatools. It matches the source to the destination as well as it can. This is usually what you want.

I have a large number of files in which I have to insert fingerings, and I was thinking of defining articulations with metatools. But is there any way to copy (i.e. save and then load) an articulation library with its metatools? I would hate to have to define them each time (some 200 short musical examples in separate files!)

OK, I found out that the keyboard shortcuts are imported with the new articulations library you load if there aren't already metatools using the same keys in the articulations library of the file itself. So I could rephrase my question: is there any way of getting rid of the metatools in a library before loading a new one, so that the new metatools will be imported?

Thanks,

Dennis
