1. Thanks to all of you who responded to the accent acute issue I phrased earlier. I should have mentioned I use Mac and Finale 2002. I've got it fixed now, thanks to this list.
2. So, has anyone tried posting to Finale's website? I'd like to post this new piece, but have a couple of concerns: (a) What about copyright protection? Are users free to download, like on shareware or, like, Faith? and (b) I'm a curmudgeon I guess, having started with Finale version 1.0. The website doesn't recognize my serial number, which for 15 years has been 001007. I seem to remember that Version 1.0 had some letters with it, but that box is long gone. I guess I should call Coda, huh? 3. In the spam category (with apologies): The new piece is "At the Dawn of Time Eternal," based (at times, loosely) on "Ahi! Amours," a 12th century crusader's song by Troubador Conon de Bethune, to my poem, which attempts to set the entire Gospel in song. For Medium Voice (baritone), Flute and piano. Let me know if you're interested in seeing it. Thanks, Ben -- Benjamin T. Riddles, II Scripto-Vox, Inc. 20 E.
