The plugin does indeed allow that. (You must be using Finale 2003 to transfer smart shape options.) Open the document that has the settings you want and hit "Copy" on each of the items you want. Then open the target document and hit "Paste" on each item.

I think there are number of francophones on the list who may know how to use Settings Scrapbook. Perhaps one of these will speak up?
