I don't know why you need the notes to line up, and I assume you are aware
that this is not necessarily correct? I am not so sure about lyrics, but
even the first note in a system should make space for any accidentals.

However, at least for lyrics, you can simply switch off the spacing of
lyrics in Document OPtions - Music Spacing.
You may also want to try TGTools and it's advanced spacing commands for
Lyrics. Perhaps that is really what you are after.
