Is there an easy or quick way to copy and paste a smart shape (straight diagonal line) from the smart shape tool?
If you use the Shape Designer for your diagonal line, it will appear at the end of the shapes available with the Expression Tool and you can enter it as many times as you like.
However, if you created it using the Smart Shapes, you can copy it using Mass Mover set up to copy only measure items - or if you have Patterson's Mass Copy plug-in, you can use it to copy the line.
If you need lots of copies, I would use the first alternative. If you need only one or two, then the others would suffice.
