TGTools->Music->Accidentals maybe? -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Christopher BJ Smith Sent: Wednesday, March 19, 2003 2:14 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [Finale] Removing forced appearances of courtesy accidentals
I have a large file in which certain accidentals have been forced to appear using the * and P (for parentheses). I have done substantial edits on the file, and want to clear all instances of the forced accidentals so that I can run the Courtesy Accidental plugin. The only way I can do it in one operation, as far as I can see, is Respell Notes under Mass Mover>Utilities, but this changes EVERY enharmonic spelling in the file to the default spelling as well, which is disastrous. Am I going to have to go through and get rid of each and every one by hand in Speedy Entry, which incidentally, changes all kinds of things I don't want changed as soon as I leave the frame, like spacing and beaming? Any ideas?
