Friends,
A friend wanted to know, and since I'm not on OSX yet I couldn't say.
Does
OMS run properly in Classic on 10.2? If so, are there problems?

As of OS X 10.2.4, OMS runs properly in Classic (at least, for Finale purposes) with certain MIDI interfaces, such as the Midiman series. Others may not work. Check the forums on Coda's web site for more info. Keep in mind that MIDI performance in Classic is very poor and may not be suitable for heavy sequencing, etc. But for note entry in Finale it's fine.

Darcy & Doug,

It was all running very smoothly for me in 10.2 until I installed a Midiman USB keystation controller. Classic loads fine but as soon as I go to load Finale it freezes at the "Loading Floating menus" point in the start up screen. Strangely it all works perfectly well with Sib. 2.

I'm still trying to figure out why?

Press on Coda, it's just round the corner now!!
