I started last year on the English hyphenation dictionary for Text Editor
using an open-source one that has already been hyphenated. (I also started
doing one manually, almost finishing words beginning with A, but gave up
after a few months). The pre-hyphenated version achieved some measure of
success, but there are several problems, not least of which that English is
such a huge language (300, 000+ words) that the dictionaries are similarly
huge, and it takes AGES to do the hyphenation - or else it crashes Finale.
