tied to make some EPS files for using in Quark Xpress (on Win XP) I got this working in earlier versions, but never without much fuss and workarounds. However, now it won't work at all. There will be an output (huge), but no program will read it and my PS printer won't print it. I tried OwnPS=0, tried to set the ps driver to compatibility, saved EPS with preview or not, fonts included or not.
I can output an EPS via file menu, but then I want to use the graphics tool to create my music samples, not this archaic method...:-(
On the other hand, Quark Xpress won't read Finale EPS files created on a mac. They seem to work on macs, at least.
Ok, I could use TIFFs, and this works fine, but the product will be a book with many note samples, and we will use EPS because of print quality and scalability (?).
Questions: Anyone on Windows got this one to work? Why cannot Coda do this (since version 2(!) of Finale - never worked on the spot)? Will a new version of Finale (when?) see to this problem? Workarounds?
thanks for any help
Kurt
