Why not just change the articulation definition?
I'm with Jari... if I were you, I'd just duplicate the existing articulation and change the definition to say "stem side" instead of "note side." Then just re-enter the articulations you want to change... no dragging required.
If you want to move *all* of them, it's even easier. Just modify the definition of the articulation in question and then use Mass Edit > Change > Articulation Assignments... to move all instances of that articulation to their defined position (add zero to default position in the dialog box).
