For the ascending minor 6th, I always used the "renunciation of love" theme from the Ring Cycle ("wer nur der Minnemacht versacht..."). Don't know if that helps anyone else, though... and to me, P4 was always the Wedding March ("Here Come the Bride") - too much Wagner?
