I'm sorry if I wasn't clear in my last post; I don't think there is, however, a way to do what I am wanting under the current program:

The articulation designer dialogue box (which pops up as an option off the right-click menu) the position drop down menu effects all articulations of that type on a global level.  Now, that's completely ok if every single articulation is all right to be on one side or the other, but there are times when more than just a single note needs to be on the flipped side from what you have chosen.  And since your two options are either to mash your arrow keys till it gets in the right position, or dragging it around the screen, it is difficult to get it into a good position and centered without a lot of tinkering.  Multiply this by a whole stream of notes that need this treatment, and you have just added a ton of time to your engraving process.  I think that, like the _expression_ assignment box, there should be an articulation assignment box where you can easily switch what side of note an articulation falls on, esp. in the case of an exception, or even a mass edit command where you highlight a series of notes and select a menu option "flip articulation".  (and yes,  I know there is a "flipped" articulation button in the designer box to turn fermatas upside down and the like, but you get what I'm saying...)

Hence, I was wondering if anyone had constructed a plugin to do this, or are we all using the click-and-drag method to reposition errant articulations?

Thanks in advance,
Michael Wittenburg
