Because that's a Windows program... this problem is in Mac OSX.  And 
besides... I have that program on my Windows PC at home, and it's not 
any good for professional-quality work.  It skews placements, font 
sizes, and the like all the time.


So sorry, ISTR seeing the original question in the thread having to do with
Windows XP, not Mac OSX.  (Granted, I have not followed the entire thread.)

FTR, the only time that program skews fonts for me (on Win98) is when I use
a non-True Type font, although it does seem to have problems interpreting
apostrophes.  "Placements" - as far as I can follow what you mean by that -
are fine.
