Not a dumb question, but an easy answer (unless I misunderstood your question!): In Mass Mover, simply highly the material to be copied. Select the 1st target measure and press Ctrl/Shft, enter the number of times you want it copied, and VOILA!

It's a bit boring to run, let's say from bar 1 to bar 70 to select
