I have two minors quirks.
I'm on a Mac G3 OS 9.2.2, Finale 03.
My first bug is with an eighth note triplet figure starting with a rest.
The bracket seems to always appear too low and into the note stems.
Any ideas?

This is a long-standing Finale bug/feature/stupid behaviour (that's the way it is designed to work, however much we may dislike it). The height of the triplet bracket is auto-determined by the height of the FIRST item in the triplet, meaning the rest in your case, and if the triplet is rising, then the last note often collides with the bracket, too. Grab the bracket and raise it manually with the triplet tool, and tilt the bracket manually, too, if you are so inclined.

This is one of a few tools that could use some major re-writing, in my opinion. There are many common situations where the final output is reasonable using the default settings, with no tweaking required, but wherever tuplets are present is another kettle of fish.

Secondly - I had some system problems when I switched to AOL.
For some reason I trashed Explorer and then downloaded a new version.
This created all sorts of system errors. I finanlly got that resolved.
However - It now seems when I go back to a finale file created in 03
and open it, I always get all the original info ie. Do you want to register
now? etc.
This happens with every file. Now when printing I get frequent system freeze
outs.
I reboot - empty trash - and restart just to play safe.
What seems to work for what ever reason, is to print a single page - save
that page - close the page move to the next page. I've got the time but it's a
little frustrating.
Any ideas would be welcomed!

Sorry I can't help with that. OS 9 is no longer supported by Apple, much to my grief and frustration as well. Let us know if you find what went wrong.
