I think this product announcement should be of general interest to the Finale list - especially for those who have ever tried to read a Sibelius file into Finale.
Recordare's Dolet for Sibelius plug-in is now available for purchase. Transfering music from Sibelius to Finale has now become a lot more accurate. The Dolet for Sibelius plug-in saves Sibelius 2.1 files in MusicXML format. You can then read the MusicXML file into Finale for Windows using our Dolet for Finale plug-in. A light version is included with Finale 2003 and 2004 for Windows. The full version works better with Sibelius files and supports Finale 2000 through 2004. The Sibelius plug-in runs on both Windows and Macintosh. We plan to start beta testing a Macintosh version of the Finale plug-in soon after Finale 2004 is released for OS X. A sample of the difference between using MusicXML and MIDI for transfering files from Sibelius to Finale is available at: http://www.recordare.com/sibelius/ You may purchase Dolet for Sibelius at our online store: http://store.recordare.com/doletsib1.html Best regards, Michael Good Recordare LLC www.recordare.com _______________________________________________ Finale mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
