HI Doug, We discussed this a while back, and I think the conclusion was that there are definitely some anomalies with chord suffixes. I'm sorry I don't know about 2001d, but maybe something out of Fin2003a will help. Here's how I change the chord font in 2003a:
options: document options: fonts: chord: set font And the suffix: chord: change chord suffix But then, apparently Finale makes some judgment calls for you (I guess). As an experiment I changed a C7(b9) to Jazzcord, size 14, and it looks pretty good, but here is the actual result: C - Jazzcord 14 7 - Jazzcord 14 ( - Maestro 24 b - Maestro 16 9 - Jazzcord 14 ) - Maestro 24 I can't remember now if anyone had an explanation for this. To be more precise, the name of the chord is in jazz font, but the rest--alterations and suffix are in Times. As always, under the Options pull down menu to "select default fonts" the dialogue box has the chord button and I have each configured as follows: Symbol: Jazzcord 24 plain Suffix: Jazz 14 plain Alteration: Jazz 24 plain I've tried switching each of the above to Jazzcord instead of Jazz, but the results remain the same. Can someone straighten me out? Thanks, Doug >> _______________________________________________ Finale mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
