You may have assigned an expression which has playback capability set to 
Tempo and a very low number.  Or you may have duplicated and edited an 
expression, not realizing what you duplicated already had playback assigned.

I've just recently noticed that no matter what metronome marking I set 
for playback I get playback at a very slow tempo (somewhat less than 
quarter = 60).  It's not a hideous problem, since I generally only use 
playback for "proofreading", but I generally don't need it to go THAT 
slow.  This is also odd, because it's a "new feature"...  Didn't do it 
before a couple of weeks ago, and there's nothing new on my system...  

Any ideas?
