Another problem with custom lines is that there really should be an option
whereby note-attached ones can automatically avoid accidentals and
augmentation dots.  I find them close to useless because of this.

In my email to the list, I also mentioned this as an annoyance. However, following Robert Patterson's advice about manipulating lines on the CLT, I've come up with an alternative which works better for me, if not perfectly. I don't need to differentiate between the Glissando and Tab Slide tools, because I don't use wavy glissando lines. I customised the Tab Slide to finish before the end point, and use this when the last note has an accidental. Assign both tools to macros, and it's relatively painless. Not as convenient as it being automatic- nor does it help for augmentation dots. Also, you might _need_ to differentiate between the Gliss. and Tab Slide. So, a lot of caveats there, but at least for my set-up, this would seem to work quite well. I wonder if this is something that could be fixed with a plug in?


Anyway, I'm still going to email Finale support asking if this can be improved.
