Will Finale 2004 for Macintosh support EPS files?

Yes and no. The initial release (2004) will import but not export EPS files. Similarly it will not compile PostScript listings. A free maintenance release (likely named 2004b) will support EPS export and compile PostScript listings in addition to supporting OS9.

I've had the best results from Acrobat when I take the postscript print file and then "Distill" it. There are subtle differences between what the print driver comes up with and the internal Finale command to compile ps.
I assume we can still make postscript files from the printer driver. Can any of you Mac OS X gurus confirm this?
