Recently I have had several very time consuming tasks in Finale where I really wished there was an automated way of doing them. Perhaps someone knows enough about Finale Script to know whether these are possible, or if not, perhaps some of you gods of FinPlugins will find these worthwhile as well.
Here they are, in no particular order: 1) Shorten stems in one layer only I have had to do this many times for the middle voices in one staff. Typically it's been layer 3. If this could be done with Finale script this would make things a lot easier. 2) Move page textblocks x pages forward/backward This would be useful in situations where extra music had to be inserted in the middle of a file, and all textblocks after the insert need to move one or more pages forward. Can this be done in a script? I'll probably think of more similar tasks soon.
