In my experience, it's not too uncommon for one of those not to be the case.<<
I went back to the original, corrected the real errors which were created by my carelessness, and changed the articulation naturals to the appropriate ones, and re-transposed it into Db. Then I also made a copy in C#, and am giving it back to the client with a kind and polite explanation that this is how it is going to be unless he wishes to pay more to keep it in Db and have the doubles disappear.
