Darcy turned me onto the iKey application - shareware for $20 at
http://www.scriptsoftware.com/ - and I can't thank him enough. I've always wanted to
get
a macro app like QuicKeys but never scraped the money together for it. Now I'm getting
used to a whole bucketload of new keystrokes that are making life much easier (I just
got
done doing copywork for a recording session tonight in NY and these made a huge
difference with that). For example:

150% = Command-3 (always seemed logical to me, never figured out why Finale didn't do
this before, since it doesn't have anything else assigned to it)

Layer 1 = F1, Layer 2 = F2, etc.

Triplets = F13 or F12, depending on the keyboard I use

I've even moved the keystroke for Fit Measures back to the Command-M that it used to be
pre-FinMac 2004.

If you haven't looked into this, definitely check it out. I'm still analyzing my own
work
habits to see if I can come up with a sequence for it.
