Thanks for the link. Yes it should definitely work better and I am shocked
to find that such a fundamental function is not 100% reliable. It has really
undermined my confidence in the programme and having used it since 1996, to
discover this bug now is really disappointing. And thinking back there have
been other instances which I put down to my own error. Now I have to wonder
about these too. I have asked for a more encouraging reply for Winsupport
but am not holding my breath.

I have seen this problem and was able to fix the missing accidentals
with Check Accidentals and Respell Notes, and sometimes Check Ties. I
don't have Finale open right now, so this might not be 100% accurate.

Seems like it should work better, eh?
