Here is a question for you Simple Entry folks: I have been trying out the new FinMac 2004 Simple Entry. I was thinking it might be useful mostly for situations when I don't have a MIDI keyboard available, but it seems heavily reliant, for speed, on a keypad. My portable doesn't have a keypad, and the numlock thing to make part of the keyboard a keypad is lousy, since you have to go back and forth (and I don't like it anyway.
But, I really do like the ability to change time signatures and add articulations as you go, so I thought I would switch to it from speedy for using with my MIDI keyboard. But it seems not to have a flip enharmonic option! Without this (for non-tonal music), MIDI entry is pretty useless. Am I missing something?
