Yes -- because the Finale updaters install a new application instead of patching the old one, you do have to take this extra step. As far as iKey is concerned, Finale 2004 and Finale 2004b are completely different applications. BTW, you also have to do the same thing with QuicKeys. And this is nothing new -- Finale has always behaved this way, so us QuicKeys/iKey users always have to remember to copy our shortcut sets and assign them to the "new" app whenever Finale releases an update.
