[Finale] Lyrics; I wait, I wait, I wait

I vaguely remember this issue being worked over some time ago. I did not 
pay close attention then as I was doing only instrumental stuff at the 
time. But in WinFin 2004b I am doing some choral stuff now and the process 
of entering and editing lyrics happens at dead slow speed. The screen 
redraw takes just short of forever.

I would like to know what is happening here and how one might speed up the 
process. I don't remember having this experience in earlier Finale 
versions. Of course, my memory is not what it once was!

Thank you for any guidance you can provide. I have two anthems on the 
table, one with German and English texts, the other with English only.
