*slaps head* Exactly the procedure I use to enter my modified microtone accidentals, then!

Thanks

Is there any way to enter accented characters while typing into the score? I'd much prefer to do this than having to prepare lyrics in Word and cut-and-paste.

You're posting from Windows, so:

With num lock on, press ALT and type the numbers representing characters.
ALT+0233 for e-acute, ALT+0225 for a-acute, ALT+0223 for eszed, ALT+0199
for C-cedille, etc. (Don't forget the leading zero -- this is the same way
you get to those extra Finale characters, too.)

I know my most-used characters by heart, but open the Windows character map
to show all those in the normal set with their ALT entry codes.

Dennis
