[Finale] Importing Smart Shapes

I'm working with some of Bill Duncan's templates - importing advantageous things into my own. There are some custom Smart Shapes (very useful things, including ending repeats that are Smart Shapes rather than Repeat Tool items - they'll keep their relationships with the measure to which they are attached on extracted parts - hooray!).

What I am wondering is, can these be imported from Bill's template as some kind of library? Bill doesn't know how. Any ideas?
