I base my speculation on the fact that with a single exception, when it was releaseed in June, in previous years, WINFIN has been released in late summer. I further recall that last year, sales began taking reservations for WINFIN 2k4 about four weeks before the intended ship date of the product, but that the ship date slipped a couple of weeks after the announcement. The phone call I just now made to Sales at Finale produced the result that they do not yet know when they are going to start accepting reservations on 2k4. Now it might be that the person to whom I spoke is just particularly poorly informed, but my guess is that this means that the current target for the ship of the Windows version is probably currently Sept. 1.
I would expect Windows to ship first.
