A constant assumtion on this group seems to be that professional 
engravers are the main source of income for the Finale product line?

HP has nothing to do with the SmartMusic product AFAIK. HP is a 
playback solution to get "proper" playback of the printed score 
without the need to have to tweak settings within the document 
and/or to run plug-ins.

Personally I think the priorities at MM are very much based on noise 
level - I believe MacOSX users have been much more active in 
getting working EPS than Win users, perhaps since it's more people 
who need it there? [Another "problem" with the Win EPS support is 
that apparently some people actually get it to work, like Benjamin.]
