That's a non-standard command -- Ctrl-F6 is the standard one. Ctrl-Tab is often implemented in non-text editing apps, like web browsers. Ctrl-Tab in most Microsoft applications inserts a tab in contexts where the Tab key would move the focus (such as in a table cell in Word, or in a text field in an Excel cell). -- David W.
